Live-in caregiver
Gay household is searching for a friendly, responsible “homebody” who would love to care for a retired, spiritually-oriented professor with mild Alzheimer’s in exchange for a large room in a beautiful house, board, and the support of two loving, drama-free individuals who are involved in helping people and changing society. This is a long-term situation and might involve an income if you are interested in participating in our collective. Your room is large, light, quiet, has satellite TV (need to use earphones), large closet, easy parking. House has three bathrooms, a garden, great view, and near park. You need to be a very quiet person with no drama or psychological problems, have lots of common sense, enjoy being of service to others and be a helper, participate in keeping the house neat and clean, perhaps cook occasionally (we’re into health but the others are not vegetarian), driver license with a clean record required (you will have access to a car and possibly accompany him on occasional short trips). Ideal for someone retired or a writer, student working on dissertation, person with night job, disabled person or ?. You must be a nonsmoker and no pets.
