It's been pretty slow here all day. I've been in and out of here a lot today and there isn't much going on. guess most people have a life on the weekends.

sounds like fun. I'm glad I only have one to do school shopping for this year. and he's 17 so jeans and t shirts will do just fine. I homeschool my youngest son, so I just him buy him clothes as he needs them and don't have to worry about getting a whole new wardrobe at school time.

WildeSpirit
08-28-2006, 05:21 AM
had all new windows put on before I moved in here, over 20 windows. it can get pretty pricey

Well I knda have an advantage... I know the guy and used to work with him(installing windows, doors, siding, etc.) Soo paying 800 bucks for 3 windows isn't soo bad.

WildeSpirit
08-28-2006, 05:31 AM
lucky you if you only have to replace 3 windows

FIREPHD/PA
08-28-2006, 05:33 AM
no, I am adding 3 more to the already 14 in the house... I think I need to replace 2 more after I get these in, and I am done...

FIREPHD/PA
08-28-2006, 05:41 AM
Soo you did all your at once??? I have replaced them as I finish the room. I may have to get 2 more for the kitchen, plus a sliding door since I am making it bigger..

WildeSpirit
08-28-2006, 05:44 AM
yep, all at once. and put a new roof on which was a real pain.

Rick96
08-28-2006, 05:46 AM
yep roof is very expensive, just put up one myself cost me 18k. Oouch...still paying it back up to this day :(

WildeSpirit
08-28-2006, 05:49 AM
we did ours ourselves....takes a bit longer that way though when you have a job to go to besides

FIREPHD/PA
08-28-2006, 06:24 AM
Roofing sucks... But thats how I work my calves out.. Houses in general suck. But I do 98% of the work myself. I install flooring on the side. Been doing it for bout 15 years now. I have re-done all the floors on the main floor of my home.
