The Dragon Boat Club of Boston, now in it's 5th and most successful year of racing in Boston, Montreal, and Pawtucket, RI is looking forward to it's races in Hartford, CT and San Francisco in September. Our multiple co-ed crews practice 3 times a week on the ONLY TWO authentic dragonboats you'll find on the beautiful Charles River right now. What is a dragonboat? It's like a cross between canoeing and crew, but in these giant 40ft fiberglass boats with 20 paddlers.

Here's a shot of us pulling out a narrow win at the Olympic Rowing Basin in Montreal this year (we're in lane one):

* 1st Place Winner: Premier Division E, Montreal International Dragonboat Festival - July 23, 2006
* 1st Place Winner: Lion Division, Chinese Dragonboat Festival and Races of Pawtucket, RI - September 9, 2006
