Walmart sells product; craigslist sells free ads. You as a consumer go to craigslist to use the free ads then Craig capitalizes off of this by charging local businesses for access to you.
In the mean time, he hurts all the local newspapers and other websites trying to provide services to the local community just like Walmart does when they bring in a new store, all the small local businesses who have a stake in the community get crushed.
Look at Craigslist now. Over 175 sites. He's cookie cutting them across the country in hopes of capitalizing off of all the free press he's getting. He's no different than any greedy corperation in the U.S. He wants it all. Get rid of all competiton. Make everyone come to him. Hypocrite all the way.
