What errors are you encountering when you try to post?

Are you unable to submit ad text, or can you not click on your verification link?

You may need to copy and paste the link into your browser window. If that doesn't work, just forward your confirmation email to support@backpage.com and we'll make the ad live for you.

Wow. Things just got weird there for a minute.

Anyway...if "clicking on link in e-mail does'nt do anything" this could be a few things. The first thing that comes to mind is that your email client/program/site is set to view emails in "plain text". If that's the case, then all you need to do is copy and paste the link in to your browser and away you go.

However, if you are able to click on the link, it opens a browser window and the page never loads, it could just be that it's timing out. This could also be happening for a lot of reasons but it's usually due to a slow connection speed.

Uhhhhm...that's all I have for now.

Have you tried single clicks and double clicks on the link?

Firewall - try turning it off - I.E. Norton, Mcafee, Zone Alarm Etc...

If you're checking your email with a user side client like Outlook Express or Eudora for example, make sure you are connected to the internet. For real.

If you are using a webmail client (hotmail, yahoo) account - make sure your browser is set to accept 3rd party cookies.

If you're using Internet Explorer - go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox and download firefox. Just be done with I.E.

That last one has less to do (specifically) with your question but, do that anyway and you will end up eliminating alot of problems.

Lastly, send me money. Daddy needs a Playstation 3.
