Please be aware that our government is trying to do to stop people from peacefully voicing their opinions regarding animal protection.

For instance, a donation of $1 to Farm Sanctuary can label you a terrorist in the eyes of our government. The Bill is known as: Title 18 U.S.C. 43, the Animal Enterprise Protection Act.

I, for one, would like to know who this Bill is supposed to protect? Certainly not our animals. It is meant to protect pharmaceutical companies who perform heinous, cruel and extremely painful tests on monkeys and other animals. Think how close chimpanzees are to humans. Would you like these tests performed on your family and children?

There is much money involved as these pharmaceutical companies bring in billions and billions of dollars each year. So this is really all about the megabucks? Animals are electrocuted with prods and terrorized while these painful experiments go on. If they are lucky, they will die during one of the experiments. If not, they will be tortured for years and years on end.

We, as compassionate people, should not allow this to happen. Animals are caged and chained and have no escape. They count on good people such as you and I to help them. And now our government (remember the one that advocates liberty, justice and freedom for all) has decided that anyone to wants to help these unfortunate animals is a terrorist, which means going to jail.

This moronic bill was authored by Sen. Diann Feinstein of California, and has already been unanimously been passed by the U.S. Senate. It MUST be stopped in the House. THIS BILL is scheduled to be FAST TRACKED, and up for NOV. 14, 2006. This proposed amendment effectively erodes the First Amendment right to freedom of speech by labeling and punishing people as terrorists simply for speaking out on behalf of animals and against the inhumane and cruel business practices employed by many animal-related enterprises.

Please let our government know that we, as compassionate, caring and civilized people, oppose this Bill and do not want it to pass. As a citizen of our country, you have a right to be heard. It is your duty as a feeling, loving fellow creature on this earth to stop our government from passing this self-serving Bill ($$$$$).

Animals have the right to live their lives without electronic shocks and prods to their most vital organs. They have the right to be on this earth without fear from humans. This is insanity at its worst, bringing us back to the days of witchhunts and burning at the stake. This is a giant step backwards for mankind.

Have you read the bill Einstien? No part infringes on your freedom of speech. It protects companies,, research facilities, and zoos from attacks causing physical damage. show me where it is written that animals have "rights". Without animal research we would lack many life saving drugs and proceedres.

And now our government (remember the one that advocates liberty, justice and freedom for all) has decided that anyone to wants to help these unfortunate animals is a terrorist, which means going to jail.

Read the bill...
