I'm an older woman who is going through a period where I've only been dating much younger men.

I'm wondering what the oldest age you guys consider when looking for an older woman? I'm one of those woman who's still quite attractive and men never believe I'm really 47 when they meet me.

I'll be honest. I'm thinking about shaving a few years off my age from now on when I'm trying to meet someone since I'm starting to think the younger men won't consider someone my age, thinking I'm just too old.

What does everyone think?

It depends on the person. I've been out with woman 10yrs older than myself, and I don't see anything wrong with that. Some people go on looks, whilst others consider what their friends may think (peer Pressure).

To each their own. Sometimes it is nice to meet someone older who is more mature and knows how to handle themselves.

I am 53. Most people don't think I am as old as I am. In fact I actually had to show Stud my drivers license before he believed how old I was. I still feel 18. I would never lie about my age. i earned every one of these years and every one of these white hairs and every little sag and stretch mark. They are badges of honor as far as I am concerned. The only alternitive to growing older is a dirt nap.

Back to your original question - never lie about your age - if they ain't man enough to accept your true age - kick them to the curb. Stud is 11 years younger than me. BUT if am old enough to be their mother, it's too much of an age difference - I have 4 sons and so if someone falls within their age range I tend to mother them - just cannot get my mind wrapped around having sex with them

Always had a thing for older women, my current wife (when we were just friends) thought I should find a nice, successful, attractive older woman and be a cabana boy for her.

That did not happen as she and I ended up together (she is two years younger then I).

But I will admit to at different times consider relationships with older women, one was 20 years older, one was 18 years older, another was 11 years older.

But also keep in mind that my mother took off when I was 8 or 9 years old, soo hmmmmmmmmm, ... I wonder ...

Also I have a friend, she is mid 50's is living with a guy 20 somthing years younger then her, she had more issue with it then her when they started out.

I hooked up with a 34 year old woman when I was 19. Since then, I think I've always had more fun with older women since then. When I was 25, I hooked up with a friend of my father's who was 47 at the time. He told me she had been a cheerleader when he knew her in college. What I meant was that I don't think I'd put an "age" on how much older someone would have to be, I think it's just attraction. If you're attracted to the person, then it's not really about age at all, if you want someone I don't think that changes after you know their age.

that I really don't have opportunities to meet men in person. I rarely come in contact with anyone I'm interested in since I stopped going out to bars and clubs.
The problem is that since I only meet men online, I know that alot won't respond to me if the age I reference is too high. Alot of younger men (and people in general) don't think a woman can really look hot after a certain age.
So this is the only reason I was thinking about shaving some years off. Once they see that age (which in my case is 47) alot won't respond.

Could lead to lots of head banging and arguing later when living together. Try to maintain separate living spaces in this situation.

Family Situation - Lots of kids and at what ages ? Chances is that she has kids. If she does not and was married, then there are most likely issues. If she does not have kids and was not married, then lots of issues. If she has kids and never been married, then lots of issues too. The same goes for him with the same scenarios with the kids/without kids. Doe she have kids and what ages ? Do your kids and his kids match in age or completely different.
