I have baby hamsters

I need help, i live in kansas city and my daughter just recently( about 3 weeks ago) came home from visiting her father with 2 hamsters. They were told at the petstore that both were female. Well a few days ago i discovered that we had 9 new baby hamsters!!!!! The mother ATE 2 of them, so gross, but the others seem to be doing fine! I don't know what to do with all of these babies, i guess they can be seperated from the mother in about 3 and a half weeks! Any suggestions???

NO,you cant bother them for 8 weeks.You cant even clean the cage.Just leave them be,or she will eat the other babies.
Then,you can take them back to the petstore

I had the EXACT same problem! The pet store told us we had 2 boys... they were SO wrong! After a while (a couple months) we ended up with 24 hampsters because the mom would have kids with her son, then a grandaughter with the dad... yeah it was gross. and a lot of them at each other. eventually we ended up giving them all to the pet store. They're happy to take them from you
