It's bee a long, LONG time since I've tried this, so bear with me:
We flirted at first
across the great divide
Like eyes meeting
Across a crowded room
We reached out
fingers touching, and found
that there was something more
We moved closer, playing, laughing
but never teasing,
finding our way into each other
Aching when the other was not there
missing as though a piece of our soul
was gone, the pain in our heart
Drawing closer, then
I suddenly puled back
