We have a map turtle that has a lot of algae on his shell and I am having trouble getting rid of it, his shell is pealing and I have no idea what to do. Someone help, any advice would be appreciated

Maybe you should take the turtle to the vet. I know that the shells of turtles are very sensitive. Make sure you keep the water clean.

thank you I ended up doing some research and it turns out that the kind of turtle I have just gets that way and it means he is healthy, I do appreciate your help though
