I am seriously upset..... as an avid pet lover I feel aminals should be treated with our love and respect. Unfortunatly horrible people sometimes abuse them. This we can not stop but we can change the way people tolerate these abusors.
While readin my dialy dose of news... I came across an article/video clip on CNN.com : "Cat Washing Machine" From the first few seconds of what I saw (since I couldnt bare to watch it) was someone trapping a cat in a washing machine like contraption then shutting the doors. They turn on the water and the cat starts to flip out! (Then I closed the window)
I can't believe they would advocate a video like this (which is hosted originally by you-tube). I thought this was a creadible news source. I guess not.
Please help take this video down by commentin on Cnn.com. I am in the process of trying to talk to someone at Google/YouTube to get the video banned.
Please help the poor defenseless creatures!
What good is banning the video going to do? Maybe we should teach cats to like water.

Karen.....I'm kidding. I have 2 cats myself whom I adore. My point is, "what's the point of banning the video," when the focus should be upon finding and prosecuting the perpetrators of animal cruelty. I'm surprised you reacted the way you did towards me. Oh well. Live and learn.

yeah this reminds me of that asshole that purposely let his pitbull kill a cat while his friend was filming it, then put it on You-Tube. Sick demented people they got what was coming to them they're in jail...

That is extremely horrible... those guys deserve to be viciously attacked by a dog.

Actually you're correct - I actually have 2 cats that are part of the family. I'm against hurting any animal EXCEPT coyotes....

Well coyotes have to survive they way they know how to... but I wouldnt want a coyote to get any of my cats either (which I have 6 cats in my family... there are more cats than people in my house. LOL)

where i live there are many coyotes, i feel sorry for them, they almost never make it across the hwy... :(

:mad: I saw that too but it isnt just just a one time thing, it is called a cat spa and they do it all the time and i think its cruel too, i think the ASPCA should investigate them all and close them down!!!! They are awful. :mad:

I got 1774. But then, it's just a game. My cats don't bounce more than a couple of feet when they land. (I'm gonna miss fluffy.)

On the subject of animal cruelty....Once I saw on one of those video websites a couple of fucking kids place a harmless cat in a bird cage and they put gas on the cat and lit it on fire. The cat struggled for 15 seconds and it died... The things they do for there 15 seconds of fame......Very sad.

that is so damn sick! I'd rather do that to those kids that harmed this cat..the world would be a better place without them! Future child abusers/serial killers in training..and who the hell would put that on a videosite? that's sick in itself! :mad: :eek:
