I am looking for a yorkshire terrier in the houston area. Must be female. Any age will do. My mom's Chihuahua passed away this morning and I am starting to look for another companion for her other dog. Mom always wanted a Yorkie. Mom is open to the idea.... so is dad. yeah beware of scammers, most yorkies range from $500 on up to $2000 so if you see an ad for free or $100 it is a bullshit lie

DONT DO IT! Your best bet is if you find something in the newspaper and able to meet your dealer and puppy. Dont do the Oh just pay for the plane fee cuz I almost got myself caught in a scam but I found this place and read the post about puppy scamming. Im gonna try the animal welfare tomorrow to see if I have a chance of finding something because I dont have enough to pay 500-2000$ for a Yorkie. Im trying to find one myself. :D

Why does everybody want a freekin yorkie, I think they are ugly dogs. Why dont you people get real dogs. You should just buy a cat.

forgot to tell you if you don't find what you're looking for at a rescue, you might try a chihuahua longcoat that is they are really great little dogs and love kids, I have 2 of them and they love my 4 yr old and 2 yr old. not snappy like the short coats. and they are not as expensive as a yorkie.

My aunt owns the worlds 2nd smallest Yorkie... It loves me... Her name is LadyBug... But yeah, I feel like kicking her sometimes.

If you're a dominant pet owner, Pitts are the best to have.

If you are a girl, don't get a dog.

If you're a landowner (Goats, pigs, chickens and stuff in your acorage), get a queensland Heeler.

If you just want a pet around the house to chill with you, get a cat, they are easiest to maintain since they poop instinctively in the litter box and not on your favorite article of clothing.

Any other kind of pet you should get because you fell in love with him, and not his breed, Please save young animals from the shelters, They WILL love you, I promise.
