"Buffer Overrun Detected!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe

A Buffer Overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must be terminated"

then when i click ok, everything goes away as if i ended the explorer.exe prosess from the task manager, it comes back though, but after a while. so i realized that time that the fire wall was off so i turned it on and the problem stopped for a long time but now its coming up again, and a lot of the time as soon as i start up windows it pops up.

Can any help me out solve this problem without using third-party software ?

Remove whatever you installed last, and remove whatever program you are trying to use should be your first step. Second step, unless you are a dev level user stop downloading anything you find on the 'net that sounds good and/or stop using pirated software.

What version of Windows are you using? More information will be helpful.
