Spent some of my money on adult dating websites and think that they were a scam; luckily I finally hooked up with a married Latina after a lot of chatting and convincing.

What's your opinion or experience?

I can tell you Lavalife is great...met a lot of nice ppl on there, and the man I've been dating for a year and a half I met on there. I know for me, one of the things I judged by is...could a guy carry on a good conversation by IM? If not, fagedaboudit. In my book, you HAVE to be able to talk and express yourself, and be respectful until someone gives you the opening to get explicit. Also, you MUST have a good REAL pic on there or fagedaboudit.

It's just that I've been paying for adult dating websites memberships before and all there's is spam and people trying to sell memberships to another websites only for you to watch their pics; but I'm glad for you, that you found a person and everything went right.

Again, thanks.

Yeah, I am happy for the few that have found someone to be with in those websites, but personally, I have no use for them. You just cannot trust that people are who they say they are, given the anonymity of the internet. Too many psychos out there. Good luck to all.

Sad that there are a few people out there abusing a good thing like the Internet; I'm glad that I enjoyed knowing a few females and all were real through the 'Net.

Thank you Trina for your response.

I am an adult dating website owner. I admit completely that I am in it for the money. By the same token I like to believe that I am offering a quality service to discerning adults. I am only an affiliate who sells these adult dating service (i.e. I have never partaken of these services myself.)

I have done searches on their engines. Friendfinder is one which has some incredible technology. The problem is I know someone who bought a membership for $20 and he was getting mostly offers from webcam girls and one offer from a homosexual. This caused me to seriously question the legitimacy of friendfinder.

Luckily, their home office happens to be in the city next to me. I learned from them that all the necessary filters have to be set up by the member or else there will be spam like offers from other "members" with ulterior motives.

I am also affiliated with other swinger sites that charge around $30 a month. I question their legitimacy because I see the same testimonials throughout the network, but I assume that since membership at friendfinder is good throughout their entire network of sites that this must also apply to the other networks I offer.

That's bad isn't it? I'm not even completely familiar with the service. It's difficult to sell something that I don't even use. Maybe I should just stick to all my other sites like my loving romance, long term relationship, dating site.
