I have never received a confirmation email for my ad. I checked my junk mail and double-checked my ad. Should I just start over and re-submit my ad?

You can also visit the help page to have your link re-sent to you. We've noticed that some email programs delay the verification email for a few hours, and we're working on a fix for that.
