I currently live in Minnesota. I have a family urgency that requires me to move to the Dallas area as soon as possible. My wifes step Father had passed this last summer of 2007, her mother at that time was undergoing Kimo and then Radiation therapy for Cancer. Her Mother is sick and we have been trying to move to the Dallas area for over 8 months now. No one will speak to me for employment. I have tried many agencies with no results. I am a Systems Administrator for 10+ years. If you can help us, email rizen_1@msn.com and I would be happy to forward my resume and answer any questions you may have.
Thank you

Sometimes -- in some job markets and in some professions -- you just have to move to the new area and look for open jobs when you get there. Of course, it's risky, but perhaps you, alone, could move and leave your family in Minnesota until you get a job.
Employers often don't want to hire out of the area because they don't want to pay moving expenses or they aren't sure of the person's commitment to moving, to staying with their company long-term, or to their fitting in and meeting their needs.

You're welcome.
And when you apply for any position that you would like, do what you did here: Reply within a day, thanking the person with whom you had contact, repeating your interest in the job .... and so forth. There may be many applicants, and the ones who stand out are the ones who follow up and show professionalism and appreciation.
Many employers now use online sites such as craigslist. Have you tried http://dallas.craigslist.org/ ?
