It goes to small claims court like Judge Joe Brown you will have to sue him/her for the $300.00. Try a certified letter and keep track of everytime you try to contact the landlord. Good luck!!

Small claims court is more hassle than what it's worth. It will cost you more money, time and aggravation than what it's worth. I'd chaulk it up as another bad life experience. Move on....
