I've played in other sports leagues in Denver and they were poorly run. I recommend Play Coed for Denver Sports Leagues at http://www.playcoed.com

I don't know why I am spending anymore time on this Web site, but I agree
I really like the competition and the overall experience at the Denver Athletic Club with the basketball leagues there!

It's the real deal. I played with this group in Denver, and now in Phoenix. It's the most fun I've ever had.

I played with WASA in Englewood, and WAKA in Denver, and it was nothing compared to DORK Kickball in Denver with Play Coed. Honestly, it was like comparing a cheap canned coffee to Starbucks, there really was no comparison.
First off the drink specials have been superior with Play Coed, the shirts and logos are awesome (I actually want to wear them), the prizes are excellent, and I had a better experience as a whole. Plus I met some good looking girls and signing up was a piece of cake, I just got on the Web site, put in my profile and started a team. Then I invited everyone to my team and within a day I was signed up, paid, and I got text messages and email annoucements with my game times. The Web site is a lot of fun too, I get to have my friends list, birthday reminders, specials and coupons, and I can get someone to write me back when I have a question right away.
I highly recommend Play Coed (http://www.playcoed.com) (I play kickball, dodgeball, and bowling), that is why I am taking the time to write this.

Seems like a lot of you enjoy playcoed, but I do not agree. I think they're expensive, unsocial, and far too over-competitive with their "playground" sports like kickball and dodgeball.
I played with Denver playcoed once about a year and a half ago, in their dodgeball league, and hated it. Fighting, arguing, attitude, expensive... horrible.
I started playing with WASA last year, in their kickball and dodgeball leagues, and what a difference. These guys are all about fun... and they organize their league that way. The league is very social, very inexpensive, and all the teams really seem to have a good time together. If fun is the reason for joining one of these leagues, then WASA is definitely the way to go! They keep a pretty simple website, but all the info is very easy to find. It's www.wasasports.com.

i love dodgeball.... started playing with some friends in Aurora at Gibby's when the movie came out... outdoor dodgeball was okay, but then we moved up to d-town and started kicking ass in the Denver Athletic Club league. Check out our team profile at this Web page: http://denver.playcoed.com/event_team.php?id=503 ... we are sitting in 2nd place out of 16 teams. there's even a team that goes around and takes some video of the games at www.teamcoorslight.com
I'll take dodgeball over soccer anyday, since it's not quite as competitive and the social aspect of the sport is much more laid back than the soccer folk. doesn't matter if we kill a team one night 7-0, they still want to hang out and drink after the games

Basketball is a great sport. One of the most popular sports in the world. I like to watch but not to play because i don`t have talent or anything that can relate me to this game. People all around the world watch basketball games at their television, and it does not matter if its a team from their country.
