If you need any assistance with your pet please use this link to locate an SPCA in your area. Most offer spay & Neuter, some offer low cost clinic's, microchipping and shots. Classes, training, advice and of course adoption services if your looking for a new pet, or if you have lost your pet.

When in doubt contact and find out.

You would be amazed at the services that may be available to you.

If you do not see your city or state - google your state/city SPCA.

We must do as well as
Encourage those you know or don't know to:

Spay/Neuter their animals
Vaccinate thier animals
Microchip their animals
Adopt from a Shelter
Donate / volunteer their time
Spread the word of the services you learn about especially free or low cost services as many people avoid services because of fee's and animals suffer.
Turn over their animal if they are unable to care for it

Discourage them from:

Breeding their animals
Fighting their animals
Abusing their animals

Contact the authorities if you suspect animal cruelty of any kind.

You do realize you could have put this all in one thread and not annoyed people with spamming, right?

It would be really nice if you would add something to help the world wide problem instead of wasting space on my thread. Every message is separate for a reason, each person is reached differently, please do not post again as your comment is rude and wasteful. All the best.

Well naturally, you're being very helpful because we are all idiots who didn't know the humane society exists. Thank you for informing us. You truly are a gift from god.

Never will I ever donate money to the HSUS... specifically because of pit bulls.

I won't go in depth unless you want me to.

Long story short, the HSUS wanted all the Vick dogs dead, when in reality, they had the most stable temperaments anyone could ever ask for (except for one bitch -- had to be euthanized due to aggression. Poor thing was bred endlessly for her entire life and never saw the outside of a cage).

--edit--

recently, Sakach said that "Some of the dogs do seem to indicate that they can be rehabilitated, and we support efforts to do that." which is progress for the HSUS. baby steps, but still progress.
