Perhaps because she IS an American Pit Bull Terrier puppy?!?!?!?

If you check photos you'll see that she IS a pit bull. She is beautiful, and she'll be great as she grows up.

she looks like a pit but her snout is shorter, she is nkc registered american bulldog not american staffordshire.

she definitely looks like an AB to me.

you have to keep in mind; there are two main types on ABs; Johnson and Scott.

Johnson ABs were bred for extreme looks; a lack of muzzle, broad chest, among other things.

Scotts, on the other hand, were bred for work (meaning they can actually function in heat higher than 80 degrees). these dogs look more like american staffordshire terriers.

notice how the one on the bottom actually has muscle definition because it can actually work (like an American Bulldog should).

it's probably to early to tell. if she's purchased, she should have a pedigree (assuming the papers aren't hung) and someone can tell by that.

nothing better than a pit (APBT,staffy etc...), very loyal great with kids, pisses me off all the bad press they get down here, every other day there's something negative on the news about the breed. I have a german shepherd (k-9), and a pit crossed with a ridgeback (beautiful dog).
