I need help caring for my pit bull and my roommate's pit mix that she has basically abandoned here. I live in Alton and work in Stl, I'm at my wits end. I love these dogs. Any ideas or help? Please respond.

It looks like I might be out of line here but I dont see the problem. If your PB doesnt get along with your new PM some basic obedience or some kind of behavoural training might be the thing.
If they do get along I would think they would keep each other company while your at work.

the problem is that they must be caged all day while i am gone, as i now have no carpet or tile due to behav. training never worked in past. Ive been doing nothing but working and staying here caring for them, as Ive found no other option.

He's a swell guy. Actually, he's a very decent guy, if a bit moody. Of course, he's a bit old to be trying to "mack" you, however.

I'm not "macking". She does have quite an attractive family though. Sisters and all are cute.
