Sarallyn, you've changed my whole attitude toward pit bulls! Now that my cat is gone, I want one. She looks great in the coat. I can't wait to see what kind of booties you got for her.;)

I had to get a coat for my daughters P/B the poor thing has such short fur and it got cold to fast this year.. Rich I think thats a great idea.. were you thinking of getting one for the kids? every kid needs a dog..

Well, my kids are teens, but, yes. We are trying to decide which breed works for us all. I haven't discussed a pit-bull with the wife, though. I'm not sure how she'll feel about it, but the ones I've met over the past couple of years are GREAT dogs. Sarallyn opened my eyes to them.

Rich my daughter just tells people its a boxer mix LOL even though he is fully papered Pit. Go to one of the shelters or look at petfinder.com in your area this is the time they are all full and you can play with several to see if its a good fit.. If you get it from a shelter it comes all shots and fixed to..

Thanks - I know, that do have short fur! poor Gracie gets cold so fast this time of year... I think i'm going to order some pajamas for her from petedge.com :D
