I bought a camera on ebay. Ok, this camera comes in a variety of models. What the seller did was "infer" that it was the higher model by using the phrase "IS" which stands for image stabilization - but he is claiming he meant the English word "is"! The thing is, his starting price, and the buy-it-now price were MORE than the camera sold for brand new! Doesn't that infer deception? I sent the money USPS postal money order - do you know if I can get the guy in trouble for fraud? It seems like it may be difficult since I actually DID receive something, and they typically are concerned with cases where the person doesn't get anything. But the fact that the price was more than this camera was new, to me implies deceipt.
Any advice? I would great appreciate it. Thanks

Talks to the folks on E bay - there are arbitration services available, there might not be much you can do except leave him a bad review - if he was a good businessman he would refund your money...

It is IMPOSSIBLE for me or anyone with any ethics to determine whether you are right or wrong without reading the EXACT text of the ad.
Anyone who tries to advise you on a matter of heresay (yours) is taking you for a bigger ride than the camera seller.
I would be asking...
Did you buy this camera?
And didn't you say his "Buy it now" price was MORE than the item costs new?
That should have been a red flag for you!
caveat emptor!
