Sounds like a topic better suited to the "Religion and Philosophy" Section where it would have better chance of reasonable discussion. Statements above will only inflame people who are interested in lesbian lifestyle. However, God Bless America and the First Amendment. :)

WoW you are out of control how you going to jump the bible in the lesbian section!!
understand that the bible has everything to do with lesbianism. it is not my intention to post in a section uninvited but rather inject the dogma that is without dispute. that JESUS saves and that an alternative lifestyle such as lesbianism and the such are those individuals doomed to the depths of hell. Consider it a favor that you are again forewarned.
JESUS SAVES!!!!

Just because YOU read something in the bible doesn't mean anything to ME. Parroting phrases is for puppets. Hey, I got an idea...lez be friends, okay? You need a good smack! That's right, a big fat smooch on the cheek. WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?? I know! I know! He'd turn the other cheek.

I really do not think you are serious about the "save your soul / repent now or burn in hell" message you are inappropriately posting all over the place. I think you are only trying to inflame people. If your are even slightly serious with your posts, (which I doubt), then you need to put some thought into what you are doing. I am a student of Christianity and the Bible and neither Jesus nor his followers EVER tried to spread their message by intentionally inflaming people. As any REASONABLE would realize, that kind of thing is extremely self defeating. You will never, ever succeed in getting anybody to listen to your message this way. If you want people to listen to you and take your message seriously, you need to start by making FRIENDS and not enemies, (as you are doing now), and then take this subject to the religion category where it belongs.
What Would Jesus Do? Jesus would, (and DID), spread his message in an appropriate way. He did not intentionally alienate people like you are doing. Think about it.
BTW: I am a Christian and neither gay nor lesbian, but I have never had any urge to condemn or bash the homosexual lifestyle. To the contrary, I fully support a persons right to live their life the way they see fit and in a manner which makes them happy so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. According to you, I suppose that means I will burn in hell with the gays and lesbians but spending eternity in hell with them is perfectly fine with me so long as YOU are not there with us.

as many lessons the Bible gives us, certainly tolerance is one of them. radicals in any sense are dangerous. wwjd, i hope that one day you will realize that hate is not what jesus teaches us. remember to "love thy neighbor."

of course i am the horrible person, i am the enemy, i am the destructive force in the world... not the sodomist's or the fornicators that live heinously or approve of this "alternative" lifestyle. how's this for an "alternative," repent or burn in hell.

Jesus never spoke out against anyone but Pharisees & Saducees who were misusing their religious/political positions--hiding behind their "beliefs" in God, etc.
If you're going by what the Protestant bible ended up including, then you may notice that it never condemned slavery, that this very bible was used as "proof" that God ordained people descended from Cain (& I think folks said Essau? Or Ishmael?) to be slaves to others, meaning God allegedly condoned slavery. This biblical "excuse" for slavery was used for hundreds of years by Christians, the same way you're using the bible as "excuse" to have laws against gays & lesbians.
Do you know at all of just HOW the bible was put together? NOT overnight. It took nearly 400 years for VERY differing groups of Jesus Followers to be brought together, AND during the time from Jesus' execution to when any sort of bible was put together there were hundreds if not thousands of spiritual writings by men AND women who believed and lived Jesus as Messiah.
What was once considered spiritual writings of the time ended up being thrown out some hundreds years later as "heresy" by Constantine et al who didn't like some of what was written and passed around. Didn't like some writings just because of some of their own biases.
Did you know that the first 'christians' had everything in common, including women speaking AND preaching to others? AND that "saint" Paul even acknowledged this, until he took money from Pricilla etc. a prominant and well-to-do woman who also preached? Then around that time Paul suddenly has a change of mind and tells people that women should be silent and obey men. Paul wasn't Jesus, remember. Paul was merely another human with his own biases and bigotries.
People being born as gay or lesbian (or hermaphrodite, or transgendered, or bisexual or with black skin or brown skin or different shades of brown, white, or born with blonde hair or black hair or curley hair or straight or wavey hair, etc etc etc) are just that: people born gay or lesbian, just as people being born hetero are born hetero. Just nature. God is far bigger than any of us make him-her-it out to be.

WWJD,
I think you are the wrong person to judge others for what they do in their own lives. I think I was told as a child that God/Jesus said for us not to judge others to leave it to him/them.As long as people dont bother you or put it in your face then leave them alone and stop trying to be someones god! If this is not what you are into then stay out of this thread, it is their soul not yours so why are you worried. and as far as what you said of course i am the horrible person, i am the enemy, i am the destructive force in the world
some may think so, pushing your views on others, coming into to their world and judging....... Makes ya think?

yes, I think whenever we believe we have a corner on the truth and go spouting off, we are bound to be broken hearted. It's jut opinion and opinions are like buttholes. We all have one, but why in the hell would we show it to anyone unless they asked??!? Same for wwjd's opinion regarding one burning in hell, they have never walked a mile in my moccasins, so shut up.

I myself am a seminary student, a 23 year old male who personally believes in nothing more than I believe in my God. The problem that people have with Christianity is not the ability to believe in the religion, the problem with Christianity are the Christians.
When was the last time you read your bible? I think that you have forgotten about Esther, that's a really great book and might help you shed some light on your "Alternative" View of what Christianity is about. The things that Esther fell subject to are things that most people would never consider "Appropriate" but she did do them. God used her like he has only used a select few throughout time --
You see, people think that if you want to believe in Christianity that you "HAVE" to be just like Jesus Christ himself. The whole point of salvation and Jesus' death on the cross was due to the fact that we will "NEVER" be like Jesus Christ -- we should always strive to make our lives more in his image, but my God knows that no matter how hard I trie, sin will always be apart of my life -- it's the whole "Flesh vs Spirit" -- You yourself sin everyday, and denying that you sin would be a sin itself -- there are "NO" perfect people.
God tells us to embrace one another -- not to judge -- your remarks show a true form of judgement against people because of certain beliefs that they have. That is a sin against yourself -- Jesus himself saved a prostitute from being stoned and told the people "He without sin cast the first stone" -- the Bible does not say that Jesus harped on the woman because of the decisions that she had made in her life, it doesn't say that he spent hours preaching to her about damnation -- he offered her salvation plain and simple --
If you are trying to win people over to the Christian faith, you are definately going about it the wrong way -- pointing out human error, harping on specific choices -- that's not what makes someone want to become a christian -- but by using your "Christian life" as an example -- showing someone what have because of your beliefs.
Anyway, I refuse to turn this forum into a pulpit -- some of my best friends are gay and lesbian -- at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what their "sexual preference" is. That's not what makes a person a person -- and I will also add that even though in the Bible, it does say that God made woman for man -- it does not say that God did not make man for man or woman for woman --
So in the defense of all who want to post in this forum, I have called you out and now ask that you never post here again -- your views and ideals are misconstrued and are no longer welcome -- (I hope that no one else objects to that remark) -- May God Bless you with His wisdom --

As long as these ladies are not hurting no one then leave them the fuck alone. Let them be who there are. We must have forgot that gay men and lesbians have been around forever, if he or she choose to be with the same sex then it's their choice and right. If you don't like it or don't want to hear about it then cut out your eyes and stick a rock in your ear. :)
I was just checking out the site because you can learn alot from these ladies and education is a powerful tool, so any ladies that are willing to teach me more about women, I am open minded and willing to learn. :D

I'll be the "christian" and pray for you. Don't worry - I'm really good at this.
The correct response is:
"You're right. Sorry for sinning" Then he'll just go away.
God must be a pervert if he's in the lesbian forums!
