I am trying to set up a portfolio in PowerPoint that will autostart when the cd is inserted. (of course the cd must be set to allow autoplay) I know that Office 2003 PPT has a function for packaging and autoloading a presentation that includes the powerpoint viewer. The problem is, I have many hyperlinks to other documents within the presentation and the user will get a 'links may contain viruses, blah, blah, blah ' warning everytime they click on one. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? I don't need the powerpoint viewer imbedded, as the user will have Office 2003 on the machine.

Thanks all!

Paul

OK, I found the answer if anyone is interested. Create the autorun.inf file in the usual manner and point it at a batch file in the root directory. Have the batch file point to the powerpoint show .pps executable. If the users cd is not set to auto-start, the show will start when they click on the cd.
