4 years ago I got a restraining order against a girl i dated for a while. I was very upset that she broke up with me and was now seeing my friend that I introduced her to so i invented things on the internet such as slandering my Matchmaker profile, had strange men from the site call my house so i could document harassment. I made a false police report and filed Domestic Violence charges against the girl. I placed several slanderous postings on snitchster.com and said she was doing it. I told the judge, who was a real idiot, that she was harassing me and I got a RO for 3 years. Now my past has come to haunt me. Someone informed on me. The police had a warrent to search my house and took my computer. I since have a new one. but there is incriminating evidence on that computer there is child porn. I need Help. Can they prove I was looking at it? Can I say it just appeared on my computer? I have a lot to lose a new wife, who knows nothing about all this. I don't want it to ever come out. Can someone please tell me what I can do about the porn and if all the harassment i did to that girl will be seen if they examine my computer would they find the emails to her and the matchmaker profile that i slandered? Would they do anything to me for committing fraud? Can that girl come back and do anything to me for the fraud if they find anything? I live in Marina Del Rey CA.

unless the child porn is just photos in the cache, or just cookies, you're screwed buddy...movies, pictures, and anything else to deal with it that are in specific folders that take actual time to d/l and such are not things they would get even close to believing just appeared...as for the other stuff...unless you have information that you actually did everything yourself for the RO fraud, you have nothing....only a complete moron would keep a journal or files saying they were committing fraud for an RO....

If they seized your computer once already, they must have a VERY good reason for doing so. Because of that, I think it's fair to assume that they are interested in what you are doing with your new computer too. In posting your question to this forum, you have just confessed to everything you did. There are tools available to Law Enforcement (and any 12 year old hacker) that would allow them to capture what you are doing On-line.

In my opinion, you need your ass kicked for all the shit you did. Sounds like Law Enforcement may be giving you what you deserve.

This was his response to someone who tried to give him advice:

"ok miss goddess, who the hell are you? are you an atty? if you don't know what the hell you're talking about leave it to the attys to answer i'm in a very sticky mess and i need real legal advise, thus this forum,
