KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, Vick. What you did was wrong, but so are some of the things that we all have done. So, before I will toss a stone at you, I will take the plank out of my own eye. Everyone play-loves you when you're on top, right?
Rather, I will pray for you and your recovery--financially, mentally, and spiritually. Find your positive focus, keep it close to your heart, fill your mind with wisdom, keep your eyes open, stay alert and find your path to God. Everything will fall into place. Also, if Britney can make a comeback, so can you (no disrespect, Brit).

you must have been wanting to get that off your chest for a while now huh? You can pray all you want for him. It wont help. But you can do it. The only thing that will save his ass is himself. PITA will be waiting no matter where he's released from. What he needs to do, is speak out against what he did and become an advocate against animal cruelty. Only then will he have a chance of getting PITA off his back. The NFL is a whole different story.

No. I can't say that this has been on my chest for a long time. I haven't followed the whole story fanatically either. However, I did happen upon a thread on another site where they were just tearing the guy to shreads! There is a point where you pass the point of retribution. To comment on your response about nothing can save or change him, well, spirituality can do wonders to even the most carnal of folk'. Michael will have to address the issue with some level of maturity and show some evidence of how he realizes that his activities were wrong. I know that if we all opened upn our closets, skeletons...bones...severed bodies...everything (symbolically speaking) would fall out. So, when Mr. Vick does make this effort, he should do so, sincerely, forgive himself completely, balance his negative activities out with some positive activities and...live on, with or without football (although, something tells me that his athletic career is not yet dead)--stating this even though I know little to nothing about football. Thank you for your comment.

Its just the type of society we live in that you're guilty until proven innocent. Yeah its sad but that's the way it is. People wanna see the high and mighty fall. As for what Vick needs to do.... I said it before. He needs to become an advocate against animal cruelty. Thats the only way society will accept him back. You have to understand that people love their animals like children.

You are so right. Our society places our 'heros' on pedastools, raises them up to the highest possible points, then we (the same people that put that 'hero' there) want them to fall! Could it be that we want a hero, per se, but when we (society) raise up one, they suddenly feel unaccessible to us? So, we can no longer relate to that person(s). It's sad but true. You are right. He will have to speak out against animal cruelty in some type of way. Most people view their pets like their kids, so to see some pititful-looking animal suffering brought the storm and rain down upon him.

No one said he was jumping right back into football. He has to start somewhere. Besides I'm surprised your not one of those people yelling "Off with his head" being that you have links to the Guillotin.
