tonight is the first time i have visited these forums. As a gay man, i was curious what would await me....never did i expect this...
to WWJD, Just a Girl and fiyah_man, what are you doing in here??? Its says GAY...if your are not gay, what brings you here? Just a girl...your lack of knowledge of what you speak is amazing...and it rolls off your tongue like the
secondly, who wants to hear your beliefs on our lifestyle, and more importantly, your rants about everything form aids, to jesus, to burning in hell.
like the other gay men and women here, (i'm sure i can speak for them), you are welcome here if you have something constructive to say...i can read about burning in hell on the "focus on the family" web-site.
I chose god to be in my life a long time ago, a god who loves unconditionally...the same jesus who loved a prostitute, a group of down and out fishermen, tax collectors and theives....and taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Your ignorance is the true source of your hatred... gay men and women are all around you, many closeted because of your hatred that you show here. we are your mailmen, firemen, teachers, doctors, lawyers, actresses, almost any career choice you can think of...and yes even your ministers and priests.
we are everywhere... we are also not going away, as there have been gay people around since the beginning of time... do any of you know a gay person? have you ever tried to speak to one intelligently, out of love? many of us want families, don't frequent bath houses, have good jobs and nice homes and have been with our partners for more years than many straight couples. we want the right to be married, yet people like you won't allow us that right, while you continue to divorce at the highest rate in the history of marriage. yet you bombard us with the rhetoric of preseving family values and protecting yourselves from our homosexual lifestyle.
You all sound angry, its sad, and we all feel sorry for you. we were all created by god and god only makes perfect things....even you are perfect, look inside yourself , find the source of your anger, purge it and you will be set free.
as far as burning in hell, the jesus i have come to know and love does not hang a firery hell over my head but insppires me to be the best person i can be everyday... but if we are all going to hell for following the teachings of the lord, (loving another human being), then we will probably see you right next to us for NOT following the commandment of loving your neighbor..
