If I was you, I would sell the car. If the payment is $600 and God knows that the insurance would have to be at least $200 and Gas money would be at least another $200. You are talking already $1000 per month or $12,000 per year!!!
Even if you had it refinanced, how much savings are you really expecting? Maximum $50 per month? That is not going to make a dent in the cost of operating the car! Remember this asset depreciates and unlike a house that appppreciates because of teh land.
I would really sell it, even if i have to lose few hundred dollars, because in the end, you would be winning.
Maybe this is not the answer you wanted to hear, but it is the real answer you should consider!
