PLEASE HELP, ISO QUEENS WOMAN WITH 2 APRICOT POODLES - Queens/East Village
Twelve years ago a very kind (Stranger) offered me one of her (two) Apricot Poodle puppies (that her adult poodles had just given birth to).
She had seen me around the East Village with a Cavalier King Charles (over the previous two months) that I was dog-sitting for a friend. She was a frequent customer of “NaaNii Boutique” on 9th and Ave. A where at the time I worked (in the East Village). After she noticed I no longer had this dog she inquired what had happened. I explained that I was just sitting for a friend but was now searching for my own pooch after realizing the joy it brought me.
I do not know much about this very kind woman in her 40’s (12 years ago) except that she and her two Toy Apricot Poodles lived in Queens and that she worked for “Fed Ex.” Her name I believe was Debbie or Denise and she could have been of Italian decent and possibly living in Astoria.
I realize this is a long shot but I need to put it out there to see if anyone knew or knows this really wonderful person. I’d like to get in contact with her to talk about how her wonderful gesture twelve years ago changed my life and to thank her for it. You see my little buddy recently passed away suddenly from a heart attack.
She gave me a really special Apricot Toy Poodle (3 1/2 lbs.) born on March 5th 1994. He also had a brother in the same litter.
Any one who could give me information in locating this woman would be greatly appreciated! Please note, I am not looking for another dog but simply want to express my gratitude.
