A Georgia man allegedly slapped a toddler at a Walmart store because she wouldn't stop crying, authorities said.
Roger Stephens allegedly slapped a stranger's crying toddler in a Walmart store in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Roger Stephens, 61, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree cruelty to children. An incident report obtained from police in Gwinnett County indicated Stephens did not know the 2-year-old girl he stands accused of hitting.

true !! if mom is hot !! he could have ask her to leave with the child and taken them both to lunch , then spring for a sitter for the child and " bang mom " in the back seat of the car !! much better than going to jail !!

Hey, if it weren't for shopping at Wal-Mart, my boyfriend and I would not have any hobbies in common! (Or my neighbors would not have any place to stay all night long when their AC breaks down....)
As for slapping strange babies, or picking up 8 year old boyfriends, now those are some interesting hobbies I haven't tried yet. When I get bored of finding legal ways of overthrowing the government, I might look into that next!

ever since i heard the Canadians booing during the US national anthem before a hockey game, (guess where....Montreal) I have a touch of animosity towards the Canadians.
Every year that Lord Stanley's cup remains in the United States, it is a source of glee.
Is Doctor assisted suicide permitted in Canada? Because, if i had to live there, I might entertain the thought.

Assault is assault. There is no excuse or reason for him to assault that child (or the mother as recommended by another post). Have you ever heard the story of the man on the bus with his 2 kids who are hooting and hollering and carrying on? Everyone on the bus glares at him, thinking "Get your kids under control!"
Finally, someone speaks up, "Sir! Don't you see that your children are carrying on and being a nuisance to the other passengers! Get them under control, will you!"
"Huh?" the father says. "Oh. Yeah. I'm...so...sorry....Kids, come here and sit by daddy, please...it's just...we're just now going home from the hospital. They lost their mother to cancer tonight. I just don't know what to do...."
Kind of changes things, doesn't it! You never know what other people are going through. No doubt that mother was at her wits' end, too but had to get done what she needed to.
As for the Wal-Mart pics, those I have to admit are amusing. I've seen pages and pages of them. Kindda makes you wonder if people go there just to "see and be seen," huh!
