View Full Version : What is the LAW, though.
Are there any employment law experts that know whether or not employers have the legal right to ask about legal prescriptions one is on or not. I know it shouldn't matter if it is legal, but I want to know the law on this. Some disabilities or conditions are simply just personal. I would greatly appreciate a legal answer. Thx-JL

I would call your state labor department or other state agency to find out what is legal in your state... each state has different laws that govern them.. if you are in doubt I would also suggest calling the EEOC in your area also or you can find them online.. they are the ones with the teeth I am finding out myself... also does were you work have policy on that too? (drug testing etc.) good luck and dont let them get you in a corner!!!!!!!!!!!!!
