what's more important? At different times of the day or life i would answer one or the other. I had a job that didn't pay much (bank, h.r. gopher) but the people and environment was decent so i stuck around for years. Then I quit and was making more money but i had no manager no schedule no deadlines, not a lot of interaction....had to self motivate and manage my time....on one hand it was great...sleeping in etc...but after about 6monhts i started to feel like crap...so I found a better job...one that i like ...making a bit less money but i have daily satisfaction from what i do (teach music) ..i still keep an online business that brings in a couple hundred bucks a month wich i spend on luxuries ....but recently i've been thinking about more expensive luxuries...like a retirment plan! ha...so now i'm swaying over to trying to make more money...damn man ...will i ever be satisfied?

...I never really thought about choosing one or the other before. Why can't you have both?

Realistically though, you'll never get rich by working at a job. You need your own business, which it sounds like you already have.

What I would do is focus on my online business to go from a couple hundred bucks a month to several thousand dollars a month and then you can just work at a job for fun.

I've been at my job for the last 9 years and it pays good, but I will most likely leave this summer. I have some online businesses as well and I've been making more money doing that than I earn at my job for quite some time now.

Anyway, that's what I would do if I were you. Crank up the online business. If you don't know how or would like some help just let me know. I'll show you how to send your business into orbit.

Send me an email or a PM if you would like some help.
