Hi,
I am a 43 year old proud woman with 2 children. My husband of 20 years, also 43, we both have health issues that have placed us in financial quicksand.
This letter is a request for a helping hand. I'm sure you get tons of letters with this same request, but please consider helping us out of this rough spot we have found ourselves in.
Mark who is a truck driver by profession, has been diagnosed with Disk Degenitive disease and he also needs his right hip replaced, this causes him unbelievable pain in his lower back and legs. Mark can't walk or stand for more than 5 minutes at a time and is unable to work at this time. He is required to have surgery and physical therapy. Mark has applied for disability and has been denied 3 times since October 2005.
I on the other hand have a heart condition that worsens with stress I also have injured my left shoulder and neck the repetitive movement causes me to be in constant pain. I continue to work everyday because this is our only source of income. My income is not enough to keep our family going. We continue to fal behind in our bills as of today our house note is more than $3300.00 behind. We received $2800.00 income tax refund and still remain behind. I don't want to keep going on and on about how bad it is but I really need help.
I am looking for a part-time job but with the shift I work at the airport (12:00 noon - 8:30 pm), I haven't been able to find anything that fits before or after work.
April 5, 2006 sitting here with my lights turned off for non-payment and gas to be turned off any day. I don't know and can't think of anything else I can do so please find it in your heart and take compassion on me and my family. Please help us, Please.
As of April 20, we have recieved papers stating intentions on the foreclosure of our home.
