Hey everyone i was wondering should i save my image files to a FAT32 Hard disk drive or a NTFS Format Hard disk drive, the images are mainly Windows XP or win2000 which all use NTFS, someone told me its best to store them on a FAt32 file system...can anyone confirm this? why is it best to store on Fat32?

if your system is already NTFS...use ntfs. If it is FAT32, than stick with that. Saving an NTFS to a FAT32 is really just wasteful. The only reason you would save to FAT32 is if you were going to open them up with a windows 98 system or use an older data recovery program that only reads FAT32. Don't worry about it.

NTFS allows you to apply more security to the files vs fat

Yeah...ntfs allows more security options. but in situations where you need to access data from different platforms, it's better to use fat32 :) !
