On Feburary 18th I paid for a Sony PSP and 3 Games for $345, this was supposed to originally ship in March. Well after several excuses and several "delays" I still don't have my PSP and Games, or my money. This person's account has been closed on ebay, and I cannot retrieve my money through paypal. Ebay has been almost no help in this matter, and the most money I can get back on this with Ebay's "Insurance" Policy is about $170.

This person had false contact information in Ebay's database, so I had to contact ebay members that sold/shipped to this person to get their true information. I have called this person several times, and there is still no resolution. He claims that the company that he is using for the PSP is moving and there will be ANOTHER delay until about May 27th. I have threatend with a Warrant, and a Lawyer, and his response was "Fine", "Call The Cops".

I'm not really sure what steps I need to take to get my money back, I wasn't the only ebay member to make this purchase and did not recieve what I paid for. I'm guessing that this person recieved funds around $10,000 total, and it doesn't appear that anyone got what they paid for.

I made the purchase from him, not this "company" that he claims is "moving". So hes acting like hes not at fault.

Also, this person used his mom's name to set up the ebay account, and paypal account, so on the transactions its shows my money going to her name. I have also spoken to his parents, but nothing has happend.

Auction:

I am located in Georgia, he and his family is located in Florida.

Delays:
Original Ship Date March
April 1st
April 15th (He told me about 4 weeks ago that it was shipped then, media mail)
May 27 (Now he claims the company is moving)

Any ideas on what I should do??

Thanks
-Steven

I suggest calling a lawyer instead of posting here.

Makes sense, no?

I lost $312 dollars to a ripoff seller on Ebay. When I went to leave negative feedback they had also stopped their account so I wasn't able to. I reported the whole thing to Internet Fraud but nothing has come of that and now they're back on Ebay selling again... but now their feedback is 'private' so that nobody can see how they've ripped others off.

I never found a way to get my money back but I sure hope that you and others do so that these people will stop getting by with it! Good luck ;)
