I placed an ad with an anonymous email. I went to my ad and posted a reply to make sure I would receive my emails from this ad. I didn't receive the reply I sent. I tried it two more times, and did not receive those replies either. I know I gave the right email address because I had to have the correct email in order to go live. Is there a time delay on receiving email responses?

In answer to my own question, yes, there is a delay. Also, if the responder does not use a complete email address or uses one that is filtered by your email provider, you will not get the message. There is no way to put these messages on a safe list, because it is the responder's email address not backpage's that is used.
You can email support@backpage.com. Send them the url of the actual ad and ask them to verify the email address in the ad matches the email address you responded to support.
If it does not, they will let you know.
More than likely, your responses are caught in an email spam filter.
