Well I'm not criticizing the remark. The little cartoon as the President in a Santa Suit struck home with me. I still think something is up in those wards in Philly. There had to be some contrarian in there somewhere. Not even one? It doesn't pass the smell test to me. As for the others condemning the remarks ......... damage control for public consumption. I'm not running for anything. Do you think they studied all the issued? They voted on racial grounds? Convince me that the totals were right.

Jindall went as far as to say the GOP message was "divisive". All this talk about how the Obama admin is divisive, and now the truth is out.

Very few people study all the issues, on either side. Its pathetic. That's why lies are told during the debates and stump speeches. That's why the GOP loves the Citizens United ruling - it fosters more unaccountable lying via 3rd party advertising to sell a candidate.
If we had elections based on fact we would be better at solving our problems.

The people of MA haven't shown very good taste in electing their representatives. Barney Frank?!? Ted Kennedy?!? John Kerry?!? Scott Brown?!? and the latest Elizabeth Warren?!? (btw she's 1/64th Cherokee)

They elected Ted's brothers and could have cared less that they were funded by the Mob and boot legged liquor. I have a cousin up there who's a Harvard researcher. I have a few relatives who live there and they're some of the biggest pompous asses I've ever met.

Barney Frank was a powerhouse in the House.
Ted Kennedy was "the lion of the Senate" responsible for some of the most important legislation in the past 40 years. He was a true statesman and had good friends on both sides of the aisle.
John Kerry I personally am not a fan of, but he too has a good record in the Senate.
Scott Brown? Weak on credentials but not a toady to be pushed around.
Elizabeth Warren? Strongest credentials for the job, a genius.

Complaining about JFK's supposed funding is kinda funny when up against the dirty tricks of ole "Tricky Dick" himself. I never heard you complain about the funding from the Koch brothers this year... or Crossroads GPS. Frankly I'd rather have "bootlegger" money than money from special interests that want tit for tat.

But really, if you want to complain about substandard politicians and the people that elect them. then you could have selected Florida. Alan West who still won't concede. Or the fact that they elected a governor that was a Medicare fraud specialist. You could have selected Georgia that elected Chambliss by smearing the record of a war hero.
You could have selected South Carolina that elected Mark Sanford and Virginia Fox.

IMO, you could have selected almost anywhere in the country and made a better case. It seems the redder the state, the redder their faces are when it comes to embarrassing politicians. And the blue states with red pockets is a subject for discussion too. How the f** did Bachmann get re-elected?

Wow! And here's me thinking the people of MA have done a great job. I even thought Scott Brown was a pretty good choice the first time around. Elizabeth Warren is simply amazing.

It's all about perspective Max. Ted Kennedy was a drunkard who left a young lady to drown in the passenger seat of his car. I disagree about how politics are funded. Corruptly acquired money is just that.....what's the old saying "two wrongs don't make a right" I'd sooner trust someone who is funded by barons of industry than criminals who are slippery enough to climb to the top of a crime syndicate. Barney Frank was an embarrassment IMO, regardless of his sexual orientation. Elizabeth Warren is one of the "you didn't build that" folks, so that rubs me raw from the get go, and the 1/64th Cherokee think is a little embarrassing. My point was that there just seems to a concentration of loonie toones in MA. Tricky Dick and Mark Sanford are both embarrassments in their own right. Bachmann is kind of like Palin, very painful to listen to, but easy on the eyes. I prefer a bit more substance in my candidates.
