That's sure as hell true but we did occupy Japan until we were relatively certain that their aggression was finished. After the occupation ended Japan hasn't lobbed rockets into the US. If they would do that even today we would respond. Well----- maybe not today?

The Soviets occupied East Germany for well over 45 years or doesn't that count. Russia still occupies or controls other countries.

Who the hell died and passed on the ultimate authority to you, Plad the Great, to make a demand as to who or when anyone should respond to your rants.

Unless I'm mistaken your question was in response to the question asked as to why the international community didn't take any action to address or enforce remedies to the grievances that you seem to have. A question is not an answer to a question.

With that being said your question only addresses one side of the problem. It's kinda like the old question "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" So I'll follow your lead and ask the one-sided question of "How would you respond if someone lobbed rockets into your cities, schools and homes and made you live under the threat that your children may be the indiscriminate target of such an attack?"

A demand? This is a forum.. WTF man. Seems like valid questions. It also seems like they were too uncomfortable for some to answer. That happens a lot on here when some realize they have no answer for their illogical positions.

It was surprising to watch "Nightline" on Tuesday night, it was as if the Israeli-Gaza conflict had completly disappeared off the screen. So much for the "Great War". Or is it that Americans can't focus on something for more than three days? Maybe it was because they no longer have a "Jew" hosting the program? Since at least it seems that they have at least [one] subtle evangelical sit in. [I used the word "Jew" pejoritively instead of the more typical American polite usage "Jewish" because the Gospel Book of John uses that term [+pl] 69 times! Or could it be that by the time "John" wrote it-the Christians and Jews were very much at odds.] Or maybe "Nightline" now should be called "Tonightline Entertainment", anyway destined to move to the late-late timeslot and there to die a nice quiet death!

The media also seemed very reluctant to report on actual casualty counts. The latest I heard was 6 to 160 and 40-60 of those were deliberately targeted by Israeli-American missiles that actually know how to hit their target.

Now for the practical aftermath (which is always pretty much the same thing). Sorry to disappoint those who thought that this was going to be the start of the end of world! Sorry, better luck on the next one. [Woah! Two big disappointments in the same month-that's kinda too much to bear isn't it!]
See here, Israel shot off a lot of military hardware and of course they are going to need to find replacements for all of it and the economic disruption that their small economy cannot afford. You can better believe that Hil came flying right over there with an offer in her pantsuit that's all part of the "peace plan" deal from Uncle Sam! Meanwhile, the Gazainians will have to repair most of their infrastructure without their former leadership whom were taken out. They too will rebuild with probably Arab help and maybe some Western aid too through quiet channels. They'll keep what's left of their rockets, probably because it is "terror" weapon-not that they can hit anything but scares the bejesus out of people. [Opps, poor choice of word]! It also seems funny that for example, Iran who claims to want to "destroy Israel" was uncharacteristically quiet-or maybe they all were afraid of having Israel's nukes rain down on them?
