That's my whole point...What are you...a fuckin' Aeronautical Engineer or something? We're arguing from the same side of the Fuselage. Science knew the consequences but failed to bring it to the attention of the mainstream public. They did memo the polluters and even got the Gubment involved but because it threatened the profit margins of Big Business, it was swept under the rug.

Remember the 200 MPG carburetor in the 50s. Who bought the patent on that and paid the inventor to keep his mouth shut???
