Hello, not sure how this is done... But here I go. I rescued a cockatiel yesterday, and on one of its wings, its partially bald at the elbow. It looks inflamed there, like there is a lump, but it is not consistent. Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.

Take it to the vet and get antibiotics then put your bird in a quiet place and keep it covered completely for two months only seeing the bird for feeding then slowly start handling the bird with treats and slowly increase the handling until it is not picking but once it starts again it back to seclusion. It worked for us.

Where did you rescue the bird from? The outdoors or from someone who needed to place him in a hurry?

Bring him to the vet no one can tell you how to care for him because you may not be sure what is really wrong with him if you don't want to keep him just say you found him and they will fix him me husband is a vet tech and if you do want to keep him it shouldn't be that much to care for him but with out getting it checked it will only get worse
